Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor the scheduled and routine maintenance activities to ensure work carried out as per specifications and procedures.
∎ Monitor the progress of the maintenance and associated Mechanical activities and take the necessary actions for timely completion.
∎ Arrange spares and contract services required for the maintenance activities.
∎ Reviewing the work methods / procedures / frequencies for improvement by planning and execution of scheduled, routine, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
∎ Plan and execute major equipment like GT, ST, HRSG schedule outages
∎ Procurement of important spares and follow-up of purchase of spares to ensure delivery.
∎ Trouble shooting/fault diagnosis/failure analysis to address failure and breakdown of equipment;
∎ Attend various inter-discipline, inter-departmental meeting for co-ordination and resolving various plant related issues.
∎ Ensure compliance with HSE requirements without compromise.
∎ Develop modification proposals for plant to make it more reliable and available.
∎ Participate in plant improvement projects as well as various plant committees
∎ Maintain relevant compliance records;
∎ Ensure that all the documents related to HSSE are developed and maintained;
∎ Ensure that all the documents related to equipment maintenance are recorded in CMMS;
∎ Always follow the standard operations control procedures so as to avoid any activity which might lead to HSSE incidents / nonconformities.
∎ Follow sound environment, health and safety practices on and off duty
∎ Perform task as assigned by immediate supervisor as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Prior Work Experience: 12 years of experiences in a power plant or similar heavy industry. Previous exposure at least for 5-years in combined cycle Power Plant will be added advantage.
∎ Additional Training/Qualification: Familiar with SAP, MOC, RCA, Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement and Permit to Work application requirements and procedures. Computer literacy in MS office is a must.
∎ Knowledge: Knowledge of Rotating Equipment and Vibration Analysis will be added advantage.
∎ Skills and Abilities: Able to work independently, take initiative and work in accordance to company's general interest in Power Industry. Has proven track records to work under pressure in tight maintenance schedule and live facilities. Ability to foresee and resolve issues before surfacing would be an added advantage. Ability to maintain good work documentation and is familiar with ISO documentation requirements. Able to communicate effectively for prompt resolution to plant matters. Must have high level of integrity, able to generate trust and build alliances with co-workers.
∎ Language Proficiency: Good Working Knowledge both in English & Bangla.
