Education:
∎ B.Sc Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical) having minimum 2 years of working experience in water treatment plant/power generating facilities / process plants OrDiploma in Engineering (preferably Electrical / Mechanical / Power) from any reputed institute having minimum 5 years of working experience in water treatment plant/power generating facilities/process plants.

∎ Or
∎ Diploma in Engineering (preferably Electrical / Mechanical / Power) from any reputed institute having minimum 5 years of working experience in water treatment plant/power generating facilities/process plants.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Operation/Maintenance Experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant/ Steam Power plant is preferable
∎ Experience in operating the “Water Treatment System” “Cooling Water System” and overall power plant operation is preferable
∎ Applicant with adequate knowledge on “Safety” work permit procedure will be considered as an additional qualification
∎ Additional experience with machinery repair and control systems or additional professional training will be preferred
∎ Knowledge of the kinds and types of equipment installed derived through a combination of hands-on experience and formal training performed in the manufacturer’s factory and/or at the jobsite
∎ Demonstrate skills in the use of tools, test equipment and calibration appliances
∎ Strong mechanical aptitude, basic understanding of chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Must be able to respond calmly and think clearly in emergency situations
∎ Must be able to visually read and respond to computer-generated data, instrumentation, gauges, readouts and variations in color

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ A large multinational Power Generation Company with operations in Bangladesh is looking for an experienced Balance of Plant (BoP) Engineer
∎ POSITION SUMMARY: The BOP Engineer shall be responsible for daily water chemistry analysis and water treatment plant operations while on shift. Responsible for training and qualifying for the position hired along with subsequent positions. Also required to adhere to plant safety, operation and administrative programs and procedures. To be maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, considering the environment implications of their work.
