Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
∎ PGD in SCM will be added advantage.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Supply Chain Management
∎ Skills Required: Banks & Financial, Communication, Computer skill
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
CNF Handling, Legal Knowledge, Letter Of Credit, Suppliers and Vendor Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develops an appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
∎ Be proactive to make the best yearly plan for the company's all types of RM, PM & other procurement aspects.
∎ Develop a procurement plan; establish, communicate and implement long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
∎ Ensure all commercial activities (e.g. PI collection, L/C Open, L/C amendment, L/C retirement and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, shipment conditions, communication with parties, payment realization etc.) through overseas communications.
∎ Sourcing, Surveying the reliable vendors or suppliers (foreign & local) to provide quality goods at competitive prices.
∎ Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
∎ Communicate and negotiate with suppliers (foreign & local) and vendors to land more profitable deals.
∎ Liaison with supplier, C&F & transportation for reach the product to customs and ensure delivery of machine/ goods from customs and port authority.
∎ Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to forecast procurement needs and ensure that materials, supplies, and equipment are ordered in a timely manner.
∎ Evaluate vendor performance based on cost, quality, and delivery and develop plans to improve supplier performance.
∎ Perform any other job assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years

∎ Practical skills in local and foreign procurement
∎ Having liaison with CNF agents, regulatory authorities, surveyors.
