Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategizing, designing, developing & executing the end-to-end SCM plans that are aligned to the company business goals.
∎ Ensure material planning for projects and supplies coordinating with Design and Execution Team ahead of actual demand.
∎ Supervise all commercial activities (e.g. issuance of PI, L/C open, amendment /correction, Export/import proceeds realization, ensure proper HS code for timely clearance from customs through maintaining proper liaison with customs authority, concerned banks, C&F agents, trade bodies, shipping lines).
∎ Understanding of LC and its terms and conditions.
∎ Provide day to day commercial support to Sales and Pre-Sales team for Tender
∎ Develop vendors based on the offered compliances, credit period, price and Delivery schedule and negotiate further for warranty support, quality and other specifics.
∎ Coordinate with the Technical team in obtaining the approval & finalize with vendor and release of purchase order.
∎ Maintain proper correspondents with supplier, factory, buyer, C&F and other concerned offices.
∎ Maintain customs process for goods clearing and transportation against Import & Export.
∎ Develop an effective and cost-efficient logistics system.
∎ Initiate and lead cost-saving initiatives.
∎ Communicate with internal departments like Operation, Accounts and logistics to ensure proper coordination
∎ Build lasting relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
