Educational Requirements:
∎ Master in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Banking from a any reputed University.
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance will get additional preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial and Banking
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manging, preparation & maintaining all kinds of activity related to import, banking, customs clearence & others functions.
∎ Liaison with Bank, C&F Agents and other organizations related to import documentation special focus on customs rules & regulations related to import.
∎ Must have in depth knowledge in Import Policy, Custom clearing & Forwarding related issues, HS Code and SRO.
∎ To ensure all commercial activities and understanding of documents. (e.g. PI collection, L/C Open, L/C amendment, L/C retirement, and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, shipment conditions, communication with parties, payment realization, etc.).
∎ Communicate with relevant authorities both locally and internationally in order to ensure company documents related to RJSC, VAT, Income Tax and others regulatory office.
∎ Sound knowledge of corporate banking related to project loan, working capital loan and others banking activity and international trade transactions involving Letters of Credit, import bills, INCO Terms, loan account reconciliation and the standard banking terms available for the industry in Bangladesh.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 42 years
∎ 10/12 years experience with minimum 5 years of similar working experience as a Manager or Sr. Manger.
∎ Well conversant with Bank Correspondence & other statutory authorities, and C&F procedure for clearance of the consignment in port.
∎ Should be punctual and ready to work for long hours.
∎ Strong written and communication skills in English.
