Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct comprehensive market research to analyse the demand for agri-machinery in Bangladesh; Identify the emerging trends, farmer needs, and industry opportunities
∎ Assist to develop or customize the products to suit the local agricultural context and recommend appropriate agri-machinery products that align with market demand
∎ Ensure the sourcing of high-quality agri-machinery from reliable domestic and international suppliers
∎ Ensure the sourcing process follows to cost-efficiency, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
∎ Plans to develop markets for agri-machinery products; Identify and establish relationships with key distribution channels and partners
∎ Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for farmers, internal teams, channel partners, and other stakeholders; Develop educational materials to enhance product awareness and usages
∎ Keep updated on local import regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards; Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory frameworks
∎ Plan and execute successful product launching, including marketing, distribution, and communication strategies
∎ Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability; Design and implement promotional campaigns to boost product awareness and adoption
∎ Analyze and optimize the supply chain and value chain for agri-machinery products; Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure smooth product availability
∎ Manage the end-to-end import process, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely delivery; Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and channel partners
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
