Job Responsibilities:
∎ Functional Activities:-
∎ Ensure availability of raw materials and consumable Items to achieve production target
∎ Ensure production yield as per shift-wise schedule and highlight issues that might impact yield and production
∎ Prepare production-related MIS for batch data entry review and batch completion
∎ Ensure scrap recipe based on availability of scraps for achieving required production
∎ Ensure processing of raw materials through various production channels at unit as per defined production process
∎ Minimize operational and process delay
∎ Ensure smooth floor operations and adherence to production schedule and quality
∎ Inform the maintenance department for maintenance of Electric Arc Furnace, Vibrator Feeder, Transfer trolley, Overhead Crane, Electrode adjustment, feeding equipment etc. and follow-up to get the job done
∎ Ensure maximization of Ladle life and quality of Ladle refractory to achieve the production target
∎ Ensure Heat Sequence to maximize production as per requirement
∎ Ensure Proper operation of Hydraulic system and Hydraulic power pack, FTP (Fume Treatment Plant) and vibrating feeder control for smooth operation and saving power
∎ Ensure availability of manpower for SMS operation as required for the shift
∎ Ensure Proper housekeeping in the production area, Ladle area and LRF area as per standard
∎ Monitor and Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and procedures at the Workplace
∎ Coordination:-
∎ Coordinate with Maintenance sub-vertical for any corrective & preventive maintenance as and when required
∎ Coordinate with quality control continuously to ensure quality of products and manage the production process accordingly
∎ Coordinate with stores to ensure availability of spares and raw materials
∎ Coordinate with CCM to resolve various production-related issues
∎ People Management:-
∎ Develop reportees by providing them appropriate training and coaching opportunities
∎ Provide career and performance support to reportees
∎ Manage attendance and leave of reportees
∎ Manage counselling and grievances of reportees
∎ Ensure appropriate allocation of workload to reportees to enable work-life balance
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Having minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role is preferred
