Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a Purchase Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall Procurement and sourcing activities of the Company.
∎ You must be responsible for all factory equipment supplies along with head office and other office supplies and you must have procurement experience in a Group of manufacturing company.
∎ To develop new vendor or supplier directly or indirectly and maintain contact with them for smooth purchase operation.
∎ To maintain update records of purchase products, delivery information and invoices.
∎ Source & purchase genuine spare parts, tools, equipment, electrical and mechanical goods, etc.
∎ Personally visit market to judge accurate market price of materials
∎ Must ask for competitive bidding prices from suppliers and whole sellers as per SOP.
∎ Make comparative statement of the prices and obtain acceptance from Department Head.
∎ Make contract arrangements with genuine brand suppliers
∎ Maintain all documents, vouchers and bills for audit.
∎ Provide input for yearly budget.
∎ To carry out any other jobs assigned by the management as and when required.
∎ To make liaison with factory team to maintain optimum stock level of Raw materials for smooth production.
∎ Be proactive in procurement planning for all required in advanced and vast production unit operational.
∎ Maintain Liaison and build up a satisfactory relationship with high officials relating to business. Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
∎ Maintain Vendors assessment. Continuously developing a pool of good vendors and building a long-term sustainable relationship with them.
∎ Conduct a market survey on a regular basis.
∎ Developing proper MIS for monitoring & control of all indents, Purchase orders, supplier performance, and circulating the same on a regular basis.
∎ Negotiate, Re-negotiate vendor contracts in favor of the company.
