Responsibilities & Context:

• Production Planning and Scheduling: Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. 
• Resource Management: Managing human resources, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. 
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all products are manufactured in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company policies, and other quality standards. 
• Safety Compliance: Enforcing health and safety regulations to provide a safe working environment for all employees. 
• Team Management: Leading, motivating, and developing a team of production staff, including performance management and training. 
• Process Optimization: Identifying and implementing strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste. 
• Budget Management: Managing production budgets and controlling costs without compromising product quality. 
• Inventory Management: Overseeing the procurement of materials and supplies, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products. 
• Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving production issues, such as equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or deviations from quality standards. 
• Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as quality control, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure seamless production operations. 
• Compliance: Ensuring that all production activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies. 
• Performance Monitoring: Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production efficiency and identify areas for improvement. 
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively leading initiatives to improve production processes, standard work, equipment, and overall efficiency. 
• Documentation: Ensuring that all production documentation is maintained accurately and in accordance with established procedures and standards.
