Education:
∎ Diploma in Marine Engineering
∎ Bachelor / Masters in any discipline.The candidate should be Diploma/ BSC in Marine Engineering is preferable.

∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Minimum of 8 years' relevant logistics & supply Chain experience in group of companies.
∎ Working experienced in International freight forwarding company will get preference.
∎ Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities·
∎ Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
∎ Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
∎ Excellent communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Computer literacy on MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is a must.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Sourcing & Chartering Mother Vessel for Carrying Raw Sugar & Cement's Raw Materials.
∎ Communication with the shipping agent, Shipper, Charterers, Vessel Masters, Stevedores, C&F agent, Carrying Agents, Surveyors, Lighter Vessel Owners and all respective related concern.
∎ Preparation of SOF for Mother Vessel and Lighter Vessel, making lay time statement Calculation of Dispatch/demurrages for both Mother & Lighter Vessel.
∎ Preparation of fixer note and C/ P Checking of BL/CP/ Sale contract·
∎ Arrangement of LV for carrying Raw Materials.Correspondence with local & foreign parties
∎ Proper loading-unloading, survey, quantification, etc.Follow-up each and every Lighter Vessel during Passage from mother vessel to factory jetty.
∎ Arrangement and monitoring of cargo discharging from mother vessel to lighter vessel and monitoring lighter vessel operations from allotment to till completion of unloading cargo.
∎ Examination of lighter's documentation and condition before loading.Taking permission from port Authority for lighter loading.Arrangement of load & light draft survey of both mother and lighter vessel.
∎ Arrangement of own lighter vessel registration, certification, insurance coverage, etc.
∎ Lighter Vessel's Crew recruitment, Training and Management.
∎ Execution own Lighter Vessels Operation.
∎ Arrangement of Repair, Maintenance, Dry-docking of own Lighter Vessels.Handling cargo claims of both mother vessel & lighter vessel.Handling accidental or any other claim of the lighter vessel with all related parties including the court.
∎ Keeping close liaison with commercial, accounts, legal, and other related departments.
∎ Operation & Maintenance of Companies own Covered Van and Other Vehicles including Documentation.
∎ Arrangement of Third party trips for companies own lighter vessels and Covered Vans.Should have knowledge on shipping & industrial Law.
∎ Arrangement and Monitoring Supply Chain's Logistics Operation both Raw material and finished goods movement end to end thorough water and road transportation both ways including Transshipment Via won and Third-party Logistics.
∎ Making Daily Supply chain report with logistics effect by corresponding with factories, field operations, wear-house, suppliers and report to the top management.
∎ Processing the file work for top management approval to implement in-field operation.
∎ Checking vendor's Bills and process for final approval and reconcile the supporting if any claim established by anybody.
∎ Making Cost analytical Report, Comparative Statement and submit it to top management.Preparing recommendation policy for smooth and cost-effective Logistics and Supply chain operation.
∎ Monitoring and instructing the won and the Third party-appointed Marine Surveyor for effective results.
∎ Keeping business communication with the homogeneous farm for business risk management and development.
