Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct regular preventive and routine maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency of all factory equipment and systems.
∎ Promptly respond to equipment faults and diagnose mechanical, electrical, or operational breakdowns.
∎ Replace or repair faulty parts and verify the correct functioning of all machines post-maintenance.
∎ Perform quality checks and inspections to confirm maintenance work meets operational standards.
∎ Collaborate with engineering, production, and client departments to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
∎ Coordinate procurement of tools, fixtures, spare parts, and specialized components as required.
∎ Develop and implement maintenance strategies and guidelines to support smooth installation and commissioning processes.
∎ Manage and control inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts. Track, monitor, and control maintenance-related costs within the allocated departmental budget.
∎ Handle emergencies and unplanned repairs promptly and effectively to minimize production disruption.
∎ Continuously improve health, safety, and environmental procedures to meet regulatory standards and promote a safe working environment.
∎ Operate and oversee the use of advanced machinery, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) on factory lines.
∎ Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and staff, ensuring high performance and reliability.
∎ Ensure 24/7 coverage and rapid response to machinery and equipment breakdowns.
∎ Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
∎ Align departmental operations with budgetary controls and cost efficiency initiatives.
