Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and implement supply plan to grow the business in Bangladesh

∎ Develop action plans in line with global supply chain strategy with purpose to meet Bangladesh demand plan and forecast
∎ Drive Supply Planning processes to deliver target service levels within target working capital investment by adopting Coats best practice
∎ Implement, execute supply plan and provide feedback to demand planning for further improvement.
∎ Plans, schedules, and monitors process of production work orders so that customer orders and finished goods stock replenishment requisitions are fulfilled on time
∎ Formulate stock keeping policy via OFA to optimize stock levels to support sales meetings target as well as improve production efficiency and profitability
∎ Calculates optimum stock levels, including ROP's and ROQ's of grey, part processed, dyed thread, in process and finished goods/yarns, make-up materials and plastic support based on budgeted and forecast demands provided by the Sales Department.
∎ Run and manage CRA to identify capacity requirements in the medium to long term and suggest for CAPEX or capacity balancing between plants to execute.
∎ Implement common system (SAP/APO/PPDS) and gain competitive advantage from using these systems effectively.
∎ Prepares regular and as needed reports on stock levels, order progress, throughput and customer service.
∎ Performs special projects/tasks from time to time.
∎ Provide people leadership and ensure the high level of employee engagement

∎ To recruit, train, develop and motivate the planning team to achieve excellence; to meet current and future organisational and market needs. Ensure robust development and succession plans for own department.
∎ Identify headcount needs for planning, based on maximising productivity and use of technology.
∎ Acts as a role model in promoting a focused, ethical and professional approach to all activities, and ensuring all business activities are conducted in compliance with the Coats Business Code of Conduct and other corporate governance requirements.
∎ Ensure high levels of employee engagement and teamwork are obtained to deliver the business goals

Additional Requirements:
∎ The minimum of 5 years working experience with an excellent track record in different functions covering core process of Planning
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good command of English
∎ Comprehensive understanding of the concepts, principles, practices and tools used in supply chain e.g from suppliers to customers SAP, APO, PPDS, One Click, OFA, CRA, MDM
∎ Detail knowledge of products and materials and able to manage product complexity in supply chain planning.
∎ Ability to take both a strategic and tactical view of the business
∎ Knowledge about supply chain, including procurement, warehouse and distribution
