Job Overview
We are seeking a Manager – Content Writer to lead our content strategy with a strong focus on SEO performance, brand authority, and high-quality backlink acquisition (including HARO outreach).
This role will be responsible for creating and managing content that ranks on Google, earns authoritative backlinks, and drives measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Content Strategy & Leadership
Develop and lead end-to-end SEO content strategy aligned with business objectives
Plan and execute content calendars across blogs, landing pages, and service pages
Conduct keyword research, topic clustering, and search intent analysis
Ensure all content is optimised for on-page SEO and ranking performance
2. HARO & Authority Backlink Strategy
Lead HARO (Help a Reporter Out) outreach campaigns to secure high-authority backlinks
Identify and respond to relevant journalist queries with expert-level content
Build relationships with media outlets, bloggers, and publishers
Drive backlink acquisition through:
Digital PR
Guest posting
Thought leadership contributions
Track and report on domain authority growth and backlink profile
3. High-Converting Copywriting
Oversee and produce content for:
Lead generation funnels
Landing pages & service pages
Paid ads (Google & Meta)
Website and campaign messaging
Ensure all content aligns with conversion goals (CRO) and user intent
4. Content Production & Quality Control
Manage and mentor content writers and junior team members
Review, edit, and approve all content to maintain high editorial standards
Ensure consistency in tone, brand voice, and messaging
Leverage AI tools effectively while maintaining human quality and originality
5. Digital Marketing Collaboration
Work closely with SEO, paid media, and design teams
Align content with campaign strategies and lead funnels
Support multi-channel marketing including:
Social media
Email campaigns
Website optimisation
6. Performance Tracking & Optimisation
Monitor performance using:
Google Analytics (GA4)
Google Search Console
Ahrefs / SEMrush
Track:
Organic traffic growth
Keyword rankings
Backlink acquisition
Conversion performance
Continuously optimise content for better visibility and ROI
