∎ Minimum Bachelor degree from a reputed Institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for trading of petroleum and Petrochemical product as required.
∎ Will typically track the market movements in the industry and make instant decisions on whether to buy or sell.
∎ Monitoring the changes in the various markets across the globe.
∎ Ensure all trading activity is carried out in compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
∎ Developing and enhancing counter-party relationships in order to expand our market presence and increase trading potential.
∎ Providing input to Management on trading strategies by generating ideas.
∎ Develop & foster a network relationship of international & domestic buyers, negotiate sales terms, and ensure all aspects of physical risk are covered in import / export transactions.
∎ Provide analysis on short term & long-term opportunities and give input to management on commercial opportunities.
∎ The incumbent will be required to make frequent visit abroad.
∎ Will be required to carry out commercial activities like L/C, Bank, port, customs etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 10 years of prior experience in trading of petrochemical products and commercial negotiation.
∎ Technical understanding of the relationship between physical and financial petrochemical markets, knowledge of macro and micro economics and how these impact commodity pricing
∎ Deep understanding of inter-regional petrochemical products, refinery operations and shipping markets.
∎ Should have specialized knowledge in trading of petrochemical products.
∎ Proven ability to develop new business relationships and to capture new opportunities
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel, word & power point), writing proposals, economic analyses.
∎ Strong customer relationship building and management skills
∎ Bringing the potential buyers and sellers together
∎ Have an extensive list of contacts of energy market participants.
