Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drawing up a schedule for regular maintenance of all machinery and equipment of the organization.
∎ Developing, updating and maintaining the SOP for maintenance of all machinery and equipment
∎ Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machines to keep them running smoothly.
∎ Ensuring proper monitoring & follow up routine for schedule maintenance including break down maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance etc.
∎ Maintaining, repairing (welding, plumbing, electrical repairs and rewiring, and minor carpentry work) and troubleshooting of all equipment of electrical & elector-mechanical machinery.
∎ Ensuring the best possible and cost-effective way for maintenance and repairing work of machineries.
∎ Keeping records of maintenance and repair costs, incidents and procedures and managing the maintenance budget.
∎ Control and manage engineering team through regular visits as necessary in order to assess progress, safety and quality and to give instruction or advice to engineering supervisors and workers.
∎ Obtaining any specialized components or fixtures needed to make repairs.
∎ Maintaining and managing stocks of supplies, parts and equipment.
∎ Following and complying with all health and safety standards and regulations.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Able to work under pressure and for long time.
∎ Should have contacts and experience in sourcing of engineering parts and components from suppliers.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self driven & have good personality with leadership skill.
