Responsibilities & Context:
Assemble, install, repair, and maintain elevators, escalators, moving sidewalks, and dumbwaiters, using hand and power tools and testing devices such as try square, spirit level, and measuring tape.
Test newly installed equipment to ensure that it meets specifications, such as stooping at floors for set amount of time.
Assist Forman and confirmation and increment of Helper and staffs.
Check that safety and adjust safety controls, counterweights, door mechanisms, and components such as valves, ratchets, seals, and Brake linings.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of system components, frameworks, and foundations, and to select installation equipment.
Maintain disciplinary procedure and prepare log book as per timeline.
Participate skill base training programs, orientation programs, etc.
Perform other jobs as assigned by the Manager.
