Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidates must be Masters and Honours degree in Information Science and Library Management from any recognized University. PhD Degree will be preferred.

Job Context:
∎ Department: Central Library
∎ Location: Primeasia University, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing budgeting, Planning and employees activates.
∎ Be responsible for developing a library and information resources center supporting teaching, independent research and learning in the University.
∎ Ensuring that library services meet the needs of users.
∎ Developing IT facilities in the library.
∎ Maintain library records and ensure it is updated.
∎ Promoting the library's resources to users.
∎ Must have knowledge on KOHA LMS, Greenstone & DSpace.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Having minimum 15 years work experience of which at least 5 years experience as Deputy Librarian in ay recognized University.
∎ Outstanding organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary: Negotiable
