Education:

• Master Degree in the relevant field with at least three first classes/divisions or CGPA 3.00 throughout the academic career with one (1) year of active teaching experience as Teaching Assistant (TA) at the university level. Or,

• For Engineering, the candidate must possess a B. Sc. (4- Year Honours) with First Class or a minimum CGPA 3.00 or equivalent degree in relevant branch/discipline with one (1) year of active teaching experience as Teaching Assistant (TA) at the university level. Or

• For Engineering, candidate having Master’s degree with at least three first classes/divisions or a minimum CGPA of 3.00 throughout the academic career may be directly appointed as a Lecturer. Or

• PhD/M Phil/Foreign Master’s degree (from North America, Europe or Far-east countries) along-with other requisite qualifications required for appointment as a Lecturer.

• For all the cases, age should not be exceeding 31 years, but in special circumstances, the conditions may be relaxed. But there should be no third class/division throughout the academic career of the candidate.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Conducting classes following the university rules;

• Prepare lessons plan and lecture materials, assignment writing etc.;

• Student counselling/proctorial responsibilities;

• May have to perform additional responsibilities of the department;
