• Operate and maintain sophisticated instruments and equipment in the laboratory.

• Set up, calibrate, maintain, operate, and shut down laboratory instruments.

• Collect, receive, label, and sort samples (blood, urine, etc.).

• Design and execute laboratory work and sample preparation following standard procedures.

• Conduct experiments under controlled conditions to verify or reject various types of samples using scientific methods.

• Organise and store chemicals, liquids, and compressed gases according to safety guidelines.

• Accurately record all data and results, then submit them to the authorised consultant.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety rules and maintain a clean and organised workspace.

• Conduct continuous research related to laboratory procedures and advancements.

• Train and orient new medical technologists on test performance and interpretation.

• Ensure accurate, timely, and quality laboratory testing that meets customer needs.
