Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, Diploma in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Veterinary Science, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ 2–5 years of experience in a veterinary/agriculture/medical laboratory.
∎ Familiar with basic lab safety procedures and documentation.
∎ Experience with livestock-related lab work is preferred.
∎ Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
∎ Ability to follow instructions accurately and work in a team.
∎ Knowledge of Russian is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the collection, labeling, and preparation of biological samples (blood, feces, milk, tissue, etc.) from livestock (cow, goat, poultry).
∎ Operate and maintain basic laboratory instruments (microscopes, centrifuges, incubators, etc.).
∎ Prepare culture media and reagents following safety protocols.
∎ Assist veterinarians in disease diagnostics, vaccination testing, and sample analysis.
∎ Record laboratory data accurately and maintain lab logs and reports.
∎ Perform general laboratory cleaning, organization, and stock management.
∎ Ensure proper disposal of biological waste and maintain a hygienic lab environment.
∎ Support research and testing related to animal feed, soil, and water quality.
∎ Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and report deviations to the lab supervisor.
∎ Assist in quality assurance and compliance procedures.
