• A 4-year Diploma in Computer Technology from any recognized institution.

• A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject will be considered an added advantage.

• Minimum 3 years of practical/technical experience in a recognized academic or industrial organization.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.

• Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with basic knowledge of networking/software tools relevant to CSE labs.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a service-oriented mindset.

• Subject Areas: Computer Science Engineering (CSE)

BAIUST solicits applications for the post of Lab Technician under the department of CSE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Possessing sound knowledge of all practical experiments related to the undergraduate program in Computer Science & Engineering.

• Providing technical support to students during practical/laboratory sessions.

• Assisting faculty members in preparing laboratory reports, conducting practical classes, and examinations.

• Ensuring proper installation, maintenance, calibration, and utilization of all laboratory equipment, instruments, and software.

• Maintaining inventory and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and security of laboratory resources.

• Supporting in the setup of new experiments, lab manuals, and technical documentation as per curriculum requirements.

• Rendering assistance in troubleshooting hardware/software-related issues within the laboratory.

• Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.
