Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology with major in Laboratory Medicine.
∎ Internship must be completed from a Government Medical college.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Lab Assistant, she/he will work with senior staff to process samples, perform tests, and record and analyze results in COVID-19 response. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of lab procedures and understand the importance of maintaining a clean workspace by following all lab regulations for health and safety. In addition to having strong attention to detail, you must be responsible and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
∎ Work Station: Shamlapur Isolation Centre in Camp 23
∎ Contract Length: Till February 2022 (with possibility of extension)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare samples for testing using various laboratory equipment.
∎ Maintain all laboratory records.
∎ Follow the correct procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations.
∎ Conduct laboratory tests, analyze results, and document your findings.
∎ Stay informed with the latest industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
∎ Document all activities, results and report back to management.
∎ Clean and sterilize equipment and work area.
∎ Collect and prepare research and information needed for studies.
∎ Classify and label samples.
∎ Undertake basic administrative tasks such as filing and answering telephones.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Practical experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
∎ Demonstrated attention to details, ability to follow procedures, meets deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members.
∎ Negotiating skills.
∎ Team-working skills.
∎ Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs.
∎ Good Written & Spoken in English.
∎ Ability to speak and understand Local Language.

Salary: Tk. 37310 (Monthly)
