Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience as Structural Designer in Building Project
∎ Experience in design of at least 2 infrastructure Projects is preferable
∎ Assists in preparation of design and construction documents
∎ Checks and coordinates details and dimensions
∎ Perform structural design calculations for steel, concrete and masonry structures.
∎ Knowledge in design procedures on standard structural engineering software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP, STAAD-PRO & Auto-CAD) and must have skills in validation of computer aided analysis and design.
∎ Prepare design and assessment calculations and reviewing detailed drawings as per BNBC Standards.
∎ Assist with other duties assigned by Senior Engineers and/or Team Leader
∎ Perform field inspection as necessary
∎ Assist in preparation of preliminary cost estimates, unit price analysis & final cost estimates.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Minimum 5 years of professional experience working in building & infrastructure Projects
∎ Should have sound knowledge on MS Office application (MS Word, MS Excel & Auto-CAD)
∎ Working experience with international organization/ working in World Bank, ADB and JICA funded Project will be preferred
∎ Proficiency in written and spoken English
