Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
∎ MSc. in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of geotechnical interpretation report
∎ Propose soil instrumentation measures and monitoring scheme
∎ Design of earth retaining or stabilizing structures (ERSS) and foundation for bridges and deep excavation for infrastructure projects
∎ Design of ground improvement works
∎ Support other team/departments to provide geotechnical engineering design solutions
∎ Responsible for coordinating geotechnical designs with consultants, clients and contractors
∎ To produce technical reports and assessment on geotechnical issues
∎ Conducting site checks and investigate on the construction effects on surrounding buildings

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 (five) years of experience in Foundation Design of Bridges. Candidates below 5 years of professional experience in foundation design of bridges need not to apply.
∎ Minimum work on 1 project in Bangladesh requiring bridge foundation construction.
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ Working experience with international organization or, in international projects will be preferred.
∎ Knowledge of design codes like ACI/AASHTO/ASTM/BNBC etc. would be desirable.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on MS Office application (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project), Auto Cad, STAAD PRO & ETABS.
∎ Good command in English & able to work with foreign experts.
