Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
∎ MSc. in Transportation Engineering is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the development of the most appropriate and economically viable construction methods for highway projects, by applying appropriate safety standards;
∎ Work with the road safety Senior and Specialist Engineers and the Project Economists to incorporate the above measures into the road designs and project cost estimates.
∎ Assist in the preparation of an operational manual on good national road safety practices, and support capacity building of relevant agency staff on the adoption of such practices.
∎ Assist in the provision of long-term goals for the Client on road safety and traffic management.
∎ Assist in establishing a proper and strategic structure for the Client for the implementation of road safety.
∎ Support in the identification of short, intermediate, and long-term road safety and traffic management measures.
∎ Assist in analyzing data related to traffic flow, accident rates, and propose methods to determine the most efficient methods to expedite traffic flow.
∎ To assess road safety measurements for required tasks.
∎ Collection of Traffic Data, small-scale traffic survey & analysis of traffic volume, composition & directional movement of traffic flow.
∎ To check Road Safety measure, Sign & marking, development of crossing facilities, improvement of junction & intersection.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation safety, geometric design. Candidates below 5 years of professional experience in road safety works need not to apply.
∎ Proven track record in crash reduction projects preferred.
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ Working experience with international organization or, in international projects will be preferred.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on MS Office application (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project).
∎ Good command in English & able to work with foreign experts.
