Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc. in Civil Engineering
∎ MSc. in Structural Engineering is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Providing structural engineering solutions including necessary designs for Bridges and other structures as per project requirements
∎ Coordinating and communicating with Client for understanding technical requirements
∎ Carrying out the design and review the work of a team of engineers and CAD technicians in carrying out the design and preparation of the drawings and maintaining quality of deliverables
∎ Coordination with the design team for project planning/preparation of schedule and delivering projects to time and budget,
∎ Mentoring and supervising Asst. Engineers/ Design Engineers and provide inputs to Team Leader/Technical manager for the continued development of the staff in the team
∎ Numerical modelling for different structures, design reports and calculations
∎ Ensuring project delivery in line with project requirements and client expectations

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 (five) years of experience in Structural Design of Bridges. Candidates below 5 years of professional experience in structural design of bridges need not to apply.
∎ Minimum 1 (one) Project of major bridge construction experience in Bangladesh from foundation to completion.
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ Working experience with international organization or, in international projects will be preferred.
∎ Has experience in reinforced / pre-stressed concrete and steel structures
∎ Experience of working towards contractors and attended to site related queries
∎ Knowledge of design codes like ACI/AASHTO/BNBC etc. would be desirable.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on MS Office application (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project), Auto Cad, STAAD PRO & ETABS.
∎ Good command in English & able to work with foreign experts.
