Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
∎ MSc. in Civil Engineering is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing, modifying, testing and evaluating materials
∎ Performing road pavement design & providing technical reports about the suitability of materials
∎ Diagnosing faults & supervise, participate and direct sampling and testing of all materials according to the contract and the specifications
∎ Analyze the test results in a timely manner and recommend action to the Senior Materials Engineer
∎ Maintain records of test results and all taken corrective actions.
∎ Ensure very close and clear coordination of his team activities with the other construction design and supervision staff
∎ Ensure inspection and checking of all delivered materials to site for conformance to the project requirements and approval, as directed by the Senior Materials Engineer

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 (five) years of experience in road pavement design and material testing. Candidates below 5 years of professional experience need not to apply.
∎ Experience in minimum 1 project in Bangladesh each on highway pavement construction and highway laboratory management.
∎ Working experience with international organization or, in international projects will be preferred.
∎ Knowledge of design codes like ACI/AASHTO/ASTM etc. would be desirable.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on MS Office application (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project)
∎ Good command in English & able to work with foreign experts.
