Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical incumbent to manage our day-to-day accounting operations and support strategic financial and capital market research. The ideal candidate holds a strong academic background in accounting and finance, possesses advanced proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and corporate presentations, and has a deep understanding of stock market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial & Accounting Management: Maintain accurate accounting books, prepare periodic financial statements, handle general ledger entries, and ensure proper ledger reconciliations.

• Capital Market & Investment Research: Track, analyze, and conduct equity research on stock market trends, financial instruments, and potential investment opportunities.

• Data Analysis & Financial Modeling: Utilize Microsoft Excel to build financial models, perform valuation analysis, manage large datasets, and forecast financial performance.

• Reporting & Presentation: Prepare structured corporate reports and executive-level presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate financial findings clearly.

• Market Analysis & Monitoring: Stay updated on macroeconomic developments, regulatory changes, and capital market movements that impact portfolio performance or corporate strategy.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance from a reputed university.

Key Skills & Experience

Required:

• Solid foundation in core accounting principles and corporate finance standards.

• Strong understanding of capital markets, equity valuation, and investment research methodologies.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, and scenario modeling).

• High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with a track record of crafting structured, professional business decks.

• Strong analytical, numerical, and written communication skills.

Preferred / Edge over other candidates:

• Completion of specialized coursework or professional certifications in Financial Derivatives (e.g., options, futures, swaps, or risk management derivatives).
