Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. Basic knowledge of all MEP Systems/services.
∎ 2. Duties include designing 2D/3D drg. and prototypes, producing detailed drawings, assisting in tender proposal submissions, and documentation for services technical compliance.
∎ 3. Discussing with senior Engineer/ Manager to design and develop new layout/ plan, following site condition and requirements. 5. Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
∎ 6. Practice basic skills and learn new ones as you gain experience and develop. Junior designers might work under the supervision of senior designers/coordinators/ managers or others as part of a design/ construction team.
∎ 7. Design MEP Services, systems using Revit and AutoCAD software.
∎ 8. Assist in the supervision, measurements, QS/ Billing and Construction works for services/ equipment.
∎ 9. Visit site, document/ record site changes and prepared as-built MEP services layout/ section etc. and maintain records.
∎ 10. Prepare drawings for MEP [ HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, DG, UPS, Kitchen, gas/ Diesel piping layout, FDA, PA, CCTV,
∎ IT, BMS, etc. Services, Architectural, ID. different objects, machines and structures.
∎ 11. They usually use seniors/ managements notes and rough sketches to create designs.
∎ 12. May also use different types of software and designing tools Preparation of MEP coordination & working, drawings with other trade i.e. structural, Architectural, and HVAC, FPS, electrical &interior design.
∎ 13. Work on CAD drawings for MEP Systems & Schematics as per instruction from Project lead MEP Designer.
∎ 14. Preparation of Schematic diagram and isometric layouts, layout according to the local and international Standards.
∎ 15. Prepare & Maintain data base of CAD blocks & general layouts
∎ 16. Should be well verse with AUTO CAD (2D/3D) programs & commands.
∎ 17. Knowledge of Duct & Pipe Sizing, Piping, Cable Tray, PLB/ Sanitary pipes & Routing, Cable Tray Sizing & Routing, Pipe Sizing, Lighting design, etc are preferred.
∎ 18. Worked for MEP Co-ordination layouts, RCP Plans. Maintain project drawings records Revisions. Prepare sections & Elevations based on the plans as required for the projects
∎ 19. Work on CAD drawings for MEP Systems & Schematics as per instruction from Project lead MEP Designer.
