Experience:

• MBBS/ equivalent degree recognized by BMDC

• Pathology/ Biochemistry: FCPS/MCPS/MD/DCP/MPhil

• 05 years of experience in Pathology Lab

• Excellent communication skills (oral & written) and teamwork (working ability in the multi-disciplinary team).

• Professional skills in MS Office.

• Supervise regular functions of the clinical pathology, hematology and biochemistry lab.

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all laboratory investigations.

• Interpret test results relevant to systemic disease affecting eye health.

• Maintain quality control and compliance with lab safety protocols.

• Ensure accurate slide preparation, cross check and preparation of peripheral blood film.

• Review and validate lab reports before final release.

• Coordinate closely with ophthalmologists for clinical correlation.

• Guide and train lab technicians, technologist and junior staff.

• Contribute to preoperative screening and patient workup.

• Participate in audits and help maintain lab accreditation standards.

• Training and providing educational support to junior staff, when necessary.

• Performing any other departmental tasks as and when necessary by the management.
