Education:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• MBBS degree with FCPS-part-1 passed will be treated as added advantage for MO.

• At least 02 years Clinical Service Management preferably in Ophthalmology is preferred for MO.

• MBBS degree with Diploma in Ophthalmology /FCPS/MS for Junior Consultant (Non-CoE).

• At least 03 years Clinical Service Management preferably in Ophthalmology is preferred for Junior Consultant (Non-CoE).

• Should have the ability to work under pressure for long hour services (if required). Computer literacy is preferred

• After completion of 02 (two) years of services at IIEI&H, candidates will be encouraged for further professional development such as (long-term Fellowship for training in sub-specialty) for Junior Consultant (Non-CoE) and (Diploma in Ophthalmology/FCPS/MS examination) for Medical Officer and they will be granted study leave with salary.

• Based on the interest and suitability of the individual Junior Consultants (Non-CoE), they will be trained for Cataract Surgery (SICS & Phaco) and given the opportunity for regular surgeries.

• IIEI&H has highly qualified and experienced trainers, well-equipped classrooms, advanced OTs and a large number of patients for practical training.

• We are currently looking for knowledgeable, energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic Eye Health Professionals for the position of Junior Consultant (Non-CoE) and Medical Officer (MO) to be posted at Secondary Level Eye Hospitals and Branch Hospitals of IIEI&H at Barishal/ Jamalpur/ Naogaon/ Kulaura/ Amtali.

Job Responsibilities

• Contributing clinical expertise to patient care and OPD Management.

• Performing administrative duties and risk management.

• Ensuring the highest standards of patient care is maintained.

• Verifying complex diagnoses and facilitating the treatment plans.

• Supervising and mentoring the healthcare professionals in collaboration with the consultants.

• Managing allocated budget and identifying key areas of improvement in Ophthalmic care.

• Keeping informed on advancements of the field and contributing to medical research programs.

• Ensuring compliance with the healthcare regulations and safety standards.

• Reporting to the senior management, as well as liaising between administrative and medical staff.

• Ensuring consistency and accuracy on medical record keeping practice.

• Salary as per IIEI&H`s Pay Scale (including Branch Allowance and Hardship Allowance).
