Job Context:
∎ DSK is a national organization registered with Social Welfare Department (Dha-02273) and NGO Affair`s Bureau (No 577 last renewed in 2016) and licensed by MRA. Since 1988, the organization has been working in Bangladesh in the field of poverty alleviation through various development initiatives having support from different donors and international organizations and PKSF. ∎ DSK seeks to recruit a self-driven, proactive and dynamic experienced candidate for the following senior position:
∎ Work station: This position will be based at DSK HQ. The office desk will be in a sharing AC room. If the vehicle route is in line with current routes, then pickup and drop to and from the office will be applicable (optional).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 45 to 55 years
∎ At least 10 years' experience in NGOs in the field of supervision of projects on Climate Change, WASH, DRR and Livelihoods. Additionally proficiency in report writing in both Bangla & English, along with strong networking skills is a pre requisite. Preferably five years in a senior management position. Superior academic qualifications and additional years of experience would be treated as an additional advantage. The candidate shall be able to work independently.
∎ Skills: Strong report writing in English Bangla is required, project supervision, follow on-time project delivery, budget projections, program & financial, monitoring and donor liaison are prerequisites. Computer applications, specifically the ability to operate MS word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. is a must.
∎ Age limit: not above 45- 55, the position is based in Dhaka and extensive field visits will be required. Travel will follow DSK travel rules.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ BDT 100,000/month as per salary scale LS, inclusive of the mobile bill and daily food allowance. Three festival bonuses will be paid as per DSK policy. Income tax will be deducted at the source as per GoB policy. This is a regular position for the next two years, performance based renewal will remain as a possibility.
