Job Context:
∎ DSK is a national organization registered with Social Welfare Department (Dha-02273) and NGO Affair’s Bureau (No 577 last renewed in 2016) and licensed by MRA. Since 1989 organization has been working in Bangladesh in the field of poverty alleviation through various development initiatives having support from different donors and international organizations and PKSF. ∎ DSK seeks to recruit a self-driven, proactive and dynamic experienced candidate for the following senior position:
∎ This is a senior staff position at DSK. Main responsibility of the incumbent would be to take necessary initiatives to raise external funding for DSK activities. He/she will be responsible for planning and coordinating all fundraising events He/she will assist ED to prepare project proposal and shall be taking necessary steps for networking to expand donor base of DSK. He/she will be reportable to the Executive Director of DSK.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 55 years
∎ At least 10 years’ experience in NGOs in the field of fund raising, PP, report writing and networking. Preferably five years in senior management position. Superior academic qualifications and additional years of experience would be treated as an additional advantage. Candidate shall be able to work independently.
∎ Skills: Strong writing skills in English and Bangla is required. Computer applications, specifically ability to operate MS word, XL, Power point etc. is a must.
Salary:
∎ BDT 80,000/month LS, inclusive of mobile bill and daily food allowance. Festival bonus will be paid as per DSK policy. For candidates with advanced qualifications and more experience salary is negotiable. Income tax will be deducted at source as per GoB policy. This is a contractual position for next three years with possibilities of extension in future.
