Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ At least Master's Degree from a recognized university with a focus in the area of Accounting and Finance, the degree options could be in Business Administration with specialization in Internal Auditing, Economics, or related fields
∎ Skills Required: Accounting and Finance
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare financial statements in compliance with Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS) and Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS), application of income tax laws, company law and other local laws in relation to statutory and regulatory requirements
∎ Operate pre/post audit on various point of view such as:- Budget, Work Order, Bill, Voucher, Invoice and L/C acceptance Audit ; Salary, Overtime, Earn leave, Production Bonus, Final Settlement; Goods Delivery, Receive & Wastage Sales
∎ Prepare annual audit plan for departments and factories
∎ Initiating audit program modification on a regular basis as required ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness
∎ Inventory Physical counting in described stores and department on monthly/yearly/surprise basis
∎ Prepare scope of audit, allocate resources and supervise the team both in the field and while preparing report
∎ Prepare accurate and timely report, highlighting the issues in financial transactions identified during the audit
∎ Prepare organizational profile, audit plan, audit methodology, risk analysis, audit materiality calculation and internal control questionnaire
∎ Prepare bank reconciliation statements
∎ Update existing audit program based on the organizations' nature, activities and financial involvement of the organization and to prepare operational flow
∎ Prepare audit report, management report and management consultancy report
∎ Review the draft reports delivered by the team and send them to higher management for further review
∎ Perform special audits and assignments assigned by management when required basis
∎ Follow up on the implementation of the Corrective Action Plans to confirm that all actions have been taken as stated
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ High degree of aptitude regarding attention to details and excellent analytical skills
∎ Leadership skills to direct and inspire the staff
∎ Advanced computer skills including MS Office, accounting software, and database
∎ Compilation of detailed and large amount of data and preparation of clear reports to facilitate higher management taking decision
∎ Proven working knowledge of all applicable auditing standards and procedures and rules
∎ Patience to listen, to consult and to share information and ideas; and to have excellent communication and negotiation skills
∎ Understanding of technology applications and techniques related to this position
∎ Sound knowledge in writing and speaking English language
