∎ SOS Children`s Village International in Bangladesh (www.sos-bangladesh.org) is a non-governmental social devolvement organisation provides care for children who have lost parental care or who are at risk of losing parental care and are deprived of caring family environment. SOS Children`s Villages International is currently working in 137 countries and territories around the world. In Bangladesh, we have been working since 1972 and presently have programmes in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Chattogram, Bogura, Sylhet and Bagerhat.
∎ Our Programmes contribute to delivering on SDGs with a special focus on our target group to improve the national social protection system, fighting inequalities, promoting access to quality education, strengthening youth employability and ending violence against children.
∎ Application is invited for the following position:
∎ Location of Job: SOS Vocational Training Centre Dhaka, Mirpur, Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Providing quality teaching and training to the students following CBT&A.
∎ Developing lesson plans and learning objectives that are based on course outlines of VTC.
∎ Maintaining all student records and reports and evaluating the progress of students.
∎ Ensuring a safe environment for each trainee.
∎ Motivating and counseling trainees on a regular basis in order to make them able to think, learn, cope with new situations and accept the new challenges after completion of the training course.
∎ Responsible and accountable for shop management and housekeeping as listed: cleaning, ventilation, lighting, tool, material and storage etc.
∎ Any other activities given time to time by Supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ 3-5 years of teaching experience (essential).
∎ Proficiency in computer applications is a must.
∎ Practical experience in Central Air-conditioning systems will get preference.
∎ Good command in the English language and high interpersonal skills & coordination skills.
∎ Strong interest in the needs and development of the children and youth.

Salary:
∎ As per existing Organization Policy.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ After a probation period of 06 (Six) months, upon confirmation, the incumbent will be entitled to receive a regular Salary Scale along with a Festival Bonus, Contributory Provident Fund and Gratuity, Children's Education Allowance, Group Insurance (Death & Accidental) as per the existing policy of the organization.
