Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and static/dynamic load tests on mobile cranes, overhead cranes, forklifts, wire ropes, and chains.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure equipment meets international standards (BS, EN, API, ASME) and regulatory requirements (e.g., LOLER).
Documentation: Prepare detailed technical inspection reports, certification, and maintenance recommendations.
Risk Management: Identify defects, wear, and potential failure points, recommending corrective actions or repairs.
Technical Training: Train riggers and operators on safe lifting practices.
