Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Industrial Technical Engineering and Master's in Business Administration.
Job Context:
∎ This position will be responsible for developing and introducing new processes, programs and systems into the RBD Fiber Limited workplace effectively. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring the optimal usage of all new machinery, technology, and software and work in conjunction with the planning team to achieve the organization`s Strategic Goals in Bangladesh.
∎ Job Site: Factory Site (Bangladesh)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for developing and monitoring of procedures for the verification of quality control in production.
∎ Responsible for developing and implementing projects to improve productivity in order to reduce costs and improve business profitability.
∎ Lead the project as well as coaches other project leaders on the implementation of improvements.
∎ Set minimum economic order quantity for raw material in the supply chain process and intermediate products for suppliers and monitor the compliance.
∎ Look for opportunities to improve and develop new efficient procedures and processes in manufacturing.
∎ Development of production control integrated in the ERP, with a view to improving productivity.
∎ Carrying out weekly and monthly reports addressing different Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
∎ Takes on special assignments on an ad-hoc basis such as lead and perform key-user functions with specialized computer & machine software; lead and participate in projects/project management in different regional sites.
∎ Supervise and coordinate various shift production processes and raw material planning such as timely delivery of quality product and satisfying customer expectations.
∎ Track, update, and monitor projects and operational KPI's. Ensure and meet the high productivity standards of RFB set by internal and external benchmarks.
∎ Ensure that different tests in the laboratory related to home textiles are conducted.
∎ Participation in a committee for the implementation of continuous improvement in the plant (machinery-infrastructure-process-logistics-communication).
∎ Address Customer feedback from different clients and address their concerns.
∎ To be capable of evaluating Chemical Products according to Global Recycle Standard (GRS), Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) is essential.
∎ Prepare and update work instructions & develop market and business intelligence for the benefit of RFB.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 10 years' experience in IE & Production ERP implementation (of which at least 5 should be in a supervisory role in Operations).
∎ Strong analytical knowledge and detail-orientation.
∎ Must have training and experience in coordination of SCM, Production & IT.
∎ Candidate should have experience in manufacturing business process development preferably with renowned manufacturing multinational company.
∎ Fluency in more than 2 languages will be an advantage (English and any other European languages will be an advantage).
∎ Familiar with fiber shredding machine operation (Knowledge of Laroche Machine/ Margacha machine).
∎ Knowledge of implementation of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 and other process management certification.
∎ Experience in working in different countries and with diverse teams would be an advantage.
