Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. Your position would be the In-charge of the Mechanical Department and you will be responsible for working on all stages of our production cycles, from research and design to manufacturing, installation, and evaluation.
∎ To be successful as a Mechanical Engineer, you should be a highly creative individual with the ability to develop innovative solutions. The top candidate will also have the ability to communicate their technical ideas in a clear manner, both visually and verbally.
∎ Report to: Head of Production
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Designing, manufacturing, and installing components that fulfill requirements.
∎ Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them.
∎ Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
∎ Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
∎ Monitor maintenance activities for efficiency and safety ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements respecting budget, policies and deadlines are followed.
∎ Optimize maintenance operations, using best available tools and procedures in order to maximize equipment availability.
∎ Estimating budgets and time scopes for each project.
∎ Writing technical documentation for machine operators.
∎ Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations.
∎ Collaborating with project managers and other engineers in our team.
∎ Monitor all site safety and legal requirements.
∎ Identify project phases and elements.
∎ Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
∎ Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
∎ Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
∎ Manage time-lines and work priorities and allocating resources to meet the assigned time-lines and goals.
∎ Staying up to date with international engineering trends.
∎ Estimating costs and timelines.
∎ Update the latest technical improvements to team members and train them wherever required
∎ All other duties as directed by the Higher Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years proven working experience as In-Charge (Mechanical) or 5 years as Shift In-Charge (Mechanical) in Glass Manufacturing Industry.
∎ Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
∎ Firm grasp of engineering concepts and experience designing mechanical systems and products.
∎ Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
∎ Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solves problems quickly and communicates clearly.
∎ Leadership skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts.
∎ Experience working in the mechanical engineering field.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Strong work ethic.
∎ Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team and independently.
∎ Having practical knowledge in site execution.
∎ Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
∎ Decision making ability and leadership skills.
∎ Time management and organization skills
