Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and results-driven Electrical Engineer who will help us advance our electrical systems & applications. Your position would be the In-Charge of the Electrical Department.
∎ On a daily basis, you`ll carry out various engineering tasks, such as performing calculations to ensure our systems meet the global safety standards and collaborating with technicians and computer programmers to solve emerging issues. Also to ensure that there is no breakdown of the engineering systems and inspect the working condition of equipment and engineering systems and ensure that all standards are maintained on regular basis.
∎ Report to: Head of Production
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing power generation, transmission and distribution.
∎ Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
∎ Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
∎ Developing electrical equipment and power distribution equipment specifications, as well as preparing electrical load calculations for single and three phase loads.
∎ Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
∎ Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards.
∎ Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
∎ Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems.
∎ Summarize data and report on test results.
∎ Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
∎ Supervising or training project team members.
∎ Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical developments.
∎ Drawing up project plans, making models, prototypes and circuit diagrams for high and low voltage electrical equipment.
∎ Ensuring projects meet safety regulations.
∎ Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets.
∎ Monitor maintenance and inspection plans.
∎ Utilizing experience with power system analysis tool to prepare electrical single line drawings, schematics and detail drawings as required.
∎ All other duties as directed by the Higher Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years proven working experience as In-Charge (Electrical) or 5 years as Shift In-Charge (Electrical) in Glass Manufacturing Industry. A valid Engineering License.
∎ Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
∎ Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.
∎ Proven expertise as an electrical engineer.
∎ Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solves problems quickly and communicates clearly.
∎ Leadership skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts.
∎ Meticulous attention to detail.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team and independently.
∎ Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
∎ Project management and supervision skills.
∎ Decision making ability and leadership skills.
∎ Time management and organization skills.
