∎ Proven experience in utilities management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the glass industry.
∎ Strong technical expertise in utility systems, energy conservation techniques, and maintenance practices.
∎ Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of professionals.
∎ Solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to utilities management and environmental standards.
∎ Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
∎ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
∎ Proficiency in relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and optimize the operation of utilities including Power Generation and Distribution, Gas & Diesel Generators, Turbine & Boilers, Substation, Water Treatment Plant, meet production requirements efficiently.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to conserve energy, reduce costs, and improve overall energy efficiency in the manufacturing processes.
∎ Coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring all utility-related equipment and systems are properly maintained and serviced to prevent downtime.
∎ Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols related to utilities management.
∎ Provide effective leadership to the utilities team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
∎ Manage the utilities department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and optimal resource utilization.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and drive efficiency enhancements in utility operations.
∎ Prepare regular reports detailing utility consumption, costs, and efficiency metrics, providing insights for decision-making processes.
∎ As the the Head of Utility, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations of all utilities within the glass manufacturing facility. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing energy consumption, managing water resources, and overseeing maintenance activities to guarantee uninterrupted production processes.
