Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Hospital Administration & Management

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Hospital Diagnostics, Referral Laboratory

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accessions client samples like Match the air way bill number with shipment received;
∎ Check the specimens received with the Test Requisition form and assists in receipt, recording and verification of patient samples with barcode generation;
∎ Receives, unpacks and inspects samples;
∎ Accession/Data Entry of all client samples, this includes ensuring all tests ordered are entered into the database, work log , and required spread sheets;
∎ Responsible for maintaining specimen identification and integrity throughout all processes within sample management;
∎ Reviews sample management paperwork;
∎ Routes samples into the appropriate workflow and ensure downstream staffs are alerted to sample availability;
∎ Responsible for maintaining proper documentation of proper specimen handling, labelling and preparation of worksheets;
∎ Troubleshoot requests and samples that have been received with incomplete information;
∎ Must begin and complete all assignments with minimal supervision;
∎ Must be able to collaborate with others for problem solving;
∎ Assists in sample management processes including sample storage, sample retrieval, off-site shipment and inventory;
∎ Assists in maintenance of equipment logs, maintenance logs, and calibration logs;
∎ Assists in investigating temperature monitoring system alarms and formally acknowledging alarms;
∎ Abide by the rules and regulations of the company regarding safety, patient confidentiality, data integrity and confidentiality, and will also follow all applicable regulatory guidelines in the course of his work;
∎ Direct call with Doctors & clients regarding any quary of reports, tests, timing of Report(TAT);
∎ Keeping record of leaked and problem specimens by filing respective forms and conveying it to Customer care and Quality Department;
∎ • Any other activities assigned by authority.
