Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have very good Knowledge in 2W production process
∎ Co-ordinate with all sections e.g weld shop, paint shop, frame assembly, engine assembly, seat assembly.
∎ Ensure optimal execution of operations by achieving targets in terms of occupational health and safety, production capacity, standardization of operating costs and quality
∎ Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
∎ Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs
∎ Organize the rework of any defective material in order to reduce hold vehicles

∎ Manage the accurate and on-time introduction of new products
∎ Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market
∎ Create and implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
∎ Implement processes and tools to foster a culture of continuous improvement
∎ Develop processes for identifying new beneficial technologies & absorb such new information technologies for efficiency improvement of plant.
∎ Establish and apply standardized production practices and procedures
∎ to achieve your unit's objectives
∎ Initiate and develop creative and innovative manufacturing processes
∎ Establish systems for capturing changes in knowledge and skill requirement in line with business needs
∎ Provide required support to departmental staff for constant up-gradation of knowledge and skills in various aspects of their working & career growth
∎ Review staff & worker performance and identify training needs
∎ Work in collaboration with the Manufacturing, Supply chain & Quality to address problems/issues and bottlenecks on Quality, Production, Safety.
∎ Ensure total internal customer satisfaction
∎ Ensure external customer satisfaction in terms of improving quality vehicle production (ensure zero defect vehicle)
∎ Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, manufacturing and quality standards and procedures are adhered to
∎ Develop Dept.'s business plan & ensure achievement for cost & improvement targets
∎ Design methods for capturing cost of production
∎ Work in collaboration with quality and other support functions to help achieve cost leadership
∎ Develop cost- effect analysis for optimum uses of resources
