Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 55 years
∎ Minimum 15+ years in the construction/engineering sector, including 5+ years in a senior leadership (Head) role.
∎ Proven experience in residential, industrial, infrastructure, and JV/EPC projects.
∎ Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, SAP2000
∎ Knowledge of drafting tools like AutoCAD, Revit
∎ Familiarity with local and international building codes (BNBC, ACI, BS, Eurocode)
∎ Primavera P6, MS Project
∎ Advanced understanding of National Building Code (BNBC), SoRs, PWD regulations, and public procurement systems (PPR/PPA).
∎ Strong command over tendering, contract law, project finance, SCM, and MEP coordination.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the Engineering Division, focusing on Turnkey, EPC, and PMC project models.
∎ Develop long-term strategic plans for project execution and departmental growth aligned with Goni Group’s vision.
∎ Set department goals, policies, KPIs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
∎ Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of all construction projects.
∎ Prepared & developed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
∎ Plan and execute engineering projects from concept through completion.
∎ Ensure all projects comply with BNBC, PWD codes, and international construction standards.
∎ Certify Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), cost adjustments, and all engineering compliance matters.
∎ Implement site safety programs, QA/QC procedures, and environmental controls.
∎ Review project plans using Primavera P6 / MS Project, ensuring real-time resource alignment and forecasting.
∎ Lead tender documentation, e-GP tender submission, and proposal preparation for DPM, OTM, OSTEM, and LTM tenders.
∎ Ensure technical and commercial accuracy as per SoRs of PWD, LGED, RHD, BWDB, WASA, BPC, Petro Bangla, Roads & highway, RAJUK, City Corporation, Titas, and other public/private bodies.
∎ Guide team in rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and contract negotiations.
∎ Supervise all technical aspects of RCC high-rise buildings, Oil & Gas pipeline projects, MEP systems, and infrastructure works, including industrial plants, bridges, flyovers, tunnels, culverts, retaining walls, and water treatment facilities
∎ Ensure design conformity, architectural coordination, and structural soundness.
∎ Review and approve all technical documents, design drawings, and construction methodologies.
∎ Formulate procurement strategies for manpower, materials, and machinery.
∎ Guide strategic sourcing, vendor prequalification, and contract negotiation.
∎ Optimize resource allocation and ensure cost-effective solutions through value engineering.
∎ Coordinate with Finance, SCM, HR, Design, and Operations for smooth project execution.
∎ Engage with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities for approvals, inspections, and updates.
∎ Lead regular progress reviews, client meetings, and internal engineering audits.
∎ Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, planners, and site personnel.
∎ Build a high-performing technical team through mentoring, training, and performance reviews.
