Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive construction project plans. Oversee all phases of construction from initiation to completion. Ensure project delivery within schedule, scope, and budget.
∎ Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, manage, and motivate a multidisciplinary construction team. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure workforce productivity. Provide training and foster professional development.
∎ Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare detailed project budgets and manage overall expenditures. Monitor costs to avoid overruns and ensure cost-efficiency. Approve purchases, contracts, and subcontractor payments.
∎ Quality Assurance & Control: Maintain high standards of construction quality and workmanship. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular inspections. Ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
∎ Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Enforce safety regulations on site to prevent accidents and injuries. Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety standards. Promote a culture of safety among all site personnel.
∎ Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors. Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions effectively. Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
∎ Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address delays, design changes, or unexpected issues promptly. Ensure minimal disruption to project timelines.
∎ Contract & Legal Oversight: Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring legal compliance. Resolve disputes and issues with contractors, suppliers, or clients. Coordinate with legal teams when necessary.
∎ Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present progress reports to senior management. Maintain accurate documentation for all project activities. Track KPIs related to timelines, cost, and quality.
