Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The specialist should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (energy, engineering, economics, etc.)
∎ Have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the gas sector in Bangladesh.
∎ The specialist will work in coordination with the international team leader.
∎ The specialist will work especially in the collection of relevant data for the development of the energy transition and decarbonization strategy, in liaising with government officials, gas distribution companies and national institutions, organizing workshops and in the provision of technical inputs, as necessary, to the analyses and outputs prepared.
∎ Knowledge of climate mitigation and adaptation measures and greenhouse gas accounting methodologies is an advantage.
∎ The specialist should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (energy, engineering, economics, etc.)
