Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Next.js/React.
• Working knowledge of Java backend development (Spring Boot; Spring Cloud preferred).
• Solid understanding of REST API design and API integration.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Experience with data migration and database scaling/performance tuning.
• Hands-on with AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, IAM; CloudFront a plus).
• Experience with authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2).
• Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Comfort operating in a startup environment with shifting priorities.
• Knowledge of caching and load balancing (e.g., Redis, CDN, ALB).

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• UI/UX sensibility to craft intuitive dashboards and flows.
• Experience in POS, fintech, or retail SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or serverless frameworks.
• Exposure to Flutter/mobile for cross‑team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate Figma/wireframes into responsive, accessible frontend (Next.js/React).

• Own frontend UI/UX and deliver smooth, performant user experiences.

• Integrate frontend components with REST APIs and microservices.

• Design and implement robust backend APIs (Java/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud).

• Follow SOLID, DRY, Hexagonal architecture and microservice design patterns.

• Contribute to backend modules where needed (Java/Spring ecosystem).

• Optimize performance, security, and scalability across the stack.

• Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFront).

• Collaborate closely with backend and mobile teams to deliver consistent features.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with unit/integration tests.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.
