• 3+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API integrations.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including data migration and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Familiarity with authentication & authorization flows (JWT, OAuth).
• Understanding of caching, load balancing, and scalability concepts.
• Knowledge of Git and Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• Experience with POS systems, fintech, or retail applications.
• Exposure to AI-based loss prevention or CCTV/IP camera integrations.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend APIs and services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

• Apply SOLID, DRY, and Hexagonal architecture principles to build scalable microservices.

• Optimize backend systems for performance, security, and reliability.

• Deploy, monitor, and manage services on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).

• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and backend teams to deliver new product features.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with proper documentation.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD integration.
