• Professional certification in Fire & Safety Management (preferred).

• 6-month Fire Safety Course from FSCD (Mandatory)

Additional Requirements:

• Age At most 37 years
• Only Male

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fire safety management within a factory/plant environment (RMG sector preferred).

• Completion of a 6-month Fire Safety Course from Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence (FSCD). [Mandatory]

• Strong knowledge of national fire safety codes, the Factory Act, and Bangladesh labor laws.

• Ability to lead fire safety teams, supervise workers, and manage crisis situations.

• Hands-on expertise in firefighting equipment, fire alarm systems, hydrants, sprinklers, and safety management systems.

• Strong communication skills to train, motivate, and build awareness among factory staff.

• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly during emergencies.

• Strong problem-solving and documentation/reporting skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and compliance documentation.

Job Context:

Artnature Bangladesh Ltd., a subsidiary of Artnature Inc., Japan, one of the world’s leading multinational companies in premium wig and hairpiece manufacturing, is setting up its new state-of-the-art facility at the Bangladesh Specialized Economic Zone (BSEZ), Araihazar, Narayanganj. The company is engaged in the manufacturing, processing, exporting, and importing of a wide range of premium hair products, including toupees, wigs, wiglets, hair accessories, ornaments, and related materials using both human and synthetic hair. Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive fire safety and general safety policies, plans, and procedures.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments of factory premises, machinery, and equipment to identify potential hazards.
• Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near-misses, determine root causes, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure proper and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all employees; maintain PPE inventory records.
• Organize and conduct fire drills, evacuation drills, and safety training programs for workers, supervisors, and emergency response teams.
• Inspect, maintain, and ensure the functionality of all fire safety systems and equipment (fire extinguishers, hydrants, smoke detectors, sprinklers, alarms).
• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), Bangladesh Fire Safety Codes, and Bangladesh Labour Act requirements.
• Prepare and submit monthly safety reports to management and relevant authorities (e.g., DIFE).
• Manage safe storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous substances/chemicals as per regulations.
• Liaise with external fire services, regulatory bodies, and security agencies.
• Supervise security guards and utility staff, ensuring adherence to fire and safety protocols.
• Conduct RSC/Accord/Alliance audit preparation and follow-up (Pre-TNC, Final TNC, technical and social compliance audits).
• Lead and train fire safety teams and volunteer groups, ensuring their readiness during emergencies.
• Maintain updated emergency response and evacuation plans for different scenarios (fire, chemical spill, earthquake).
• Provide regular awareness sessions to promote a culture of safety among all employees.
• Supervise security guards and utility staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform any other fire & safety-related duties assigned by management.
