Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must have completed a Fire Defense Course (Fire Safety & Firefighting Training).
- Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in fire safety, industrial safety, or emergency response.
- Candidates with background from Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defense will get strong preference.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety regulations, inspection procedures, and emergency response protocols.
- Strong leadership ability to handle emergency situations with discipline and calmness.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Complete fire fighting and first aid foundation training course, duration not less than six month.
- overseas fire related training.
- Fire fighting advance course / structural advance course.
- Experience of catastrophic fire fighting and collapsed structure rescue from high rise building.
Responsibilities & Context:
Position Overview:
The Fire Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising all fire safety, prevention, and emergency response activities within the organization. The role ensures compliance with fire safety regulations, oversees fire protection systems, and conducts regular training to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Inspect and maintain all fire protection equipment including extinguishers, alarms, hydrants, sprinklers, and detectors.
- Organize and lead periodic fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
- Train employees on fire prevention, safe evacuation, and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation related to fire inspections, audits, incident reports, and compliance.
- Lead emergency response operations during any fire-related incident.
- Provide guidance on fire hazard control and workplace safety.
- Coordinate closely with Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defense for regulatory compliance and emergency assistance.
- Assist in budgeting for fire safety equipment, training, and system upgrades.
- Investigate fire incidents and prepare analytical reports with preventive measures
