Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Civil engineering or Diploma In Construction

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Construction supervision, mobilization and ensure community participation in the regular operation and maintenance of WASH facilities.
∎ Water network construction, Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant (FSTP), Latrines, Bathing facilities, tube wells/ Tape Stand & Solid Waste Management.
∎ Daily Construction Measurement and quality control as per design, drawing and BoQ specification.
∎ Technical Support to Daily Worker on repair and maintenance of WASH Facilities.
∎ Conduct technical assessments and data analysis, construction tracking.
∎ Maintain Details Implementation Plans (DIPs) for the delivery of project WASH infrastructure.
∎ Provide overall follow up and supervision of worker functions.
∎ Participation in WASH needs assessment and beneficiary selection for camp population.
∎ Support and identification of suitable sites for new water and sanitation facilities in refugee camp, Collect GPS of sites, Kobo Assessment on WASH Facilities to Measure condition.
∎ Daily construction measurement, and quality control as per guidance from WASH engineer or ISCG guideline.
∎ Support wash engineer to conduct survey of WASH facilities.
∎ Liaise between the project's stakeholders and beneficiaries
∎ Responsible of the day-to-day security management.
∎ Abide by the security procedures and policies and report any breaches.
∎ Participate in personal safety training as required.
∎ Be aware of emergency procedures in a response,
∎ Attend and participate in capacity building trainings locally, if any.
∎ Attend and participate in WVI's spiritual nurture events and other organizational events.
∎ Perform other relevant tasks as assigned

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years' experience in an infrastructure project with special focus in community water supply system, fecal sludge Treatment Plant, Sanitation Latrine and Bathing, and Solid Waste Management Construction sites.
∎ Independent, self-starter and creative
∎ Strong English/ Bangla communication skills (oral and written)
∎ Ability to travel across the country regularly for training, assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation
∎ Strong capacity building and facilitation skills
∎ Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina
∎ Ability to work without supervision
∎ Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment
∎ Ability to maintain performance expectations in psychologically stressful environments and physical hardship conditions with limited resources
∎ Able to use a computer, with word-processing and spreadsheets, (e.g. Microsoft Office)
∎ Good command to use Auto Cad to prepare construction drawing.
∎ Experience in managing infrastructure works, partners and facilitating capacity building of WASH committee.
